Amazon Delivery Worker Gets Treated By Kindness, His Reaction Is Priceless

While everyone is out shopping and preparing for the holidays, they sometimes forget those who bring their orders to them. One family each year, has made it a tradition to say thanks by leaving snacks at their front door for the delivery drivers.

This is what the sign said:

“UPS, USPS, AMAZON, FEDEX – please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping easy. The Ouma family”

One Amazon driver’s reaction was fantastic as he does a happy dance while walking away captured on camera.

There are around 3.5 million truck drivers in the United States alone who transport packages each year. Their future might not be so bright, as it is predicted they will be replaced eventually by robots. Home deliveries happen everywhere each day. Think of all the orders placed online each day. It is overwhelming to think about.

Amazon stated that during the year 2018, there were more than 5 billion items shipped through its Prime program last year. However, there are many more companies and orders being placed each and every day.

Kathy Ouma from Middletown, Delaware decided to post her door camera recording online and since then it has gone viral showing her Amazon Prime delivery guy grabbing snacks for the road.

This act of kindness brightened up this mans day for sure. Kathy went on to say, “I leave goodies out every year.” She posted on Facebook regarding the video and it made her happy inside to see this man react in such a way.

Perhaps this will spark a new trend, as everyone should be thankful of one another and much more appreciative of what people do. It is best to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Shopping is something people do often.

Statistically, ecommerce is growing by 23% year-after-year, however, 46% of American small businesses do not have a website yet.

Americans spend 64% of their shopping budget in-store, and 36% online. More than three-quarters of online shoppers, would like their orders shipped the same day. It has become an in-demand type society.
